Chef Christie started as a line cook and prep cook over 11 years ago. She later became a Sous chef in several restaurants in South Carolina. She has cooked and helped create menu dishes while orchestrating many recipes of her own that were used in restaurants. When she entered the culinary industry she worked in the Hilton Garden Inn as a line cook. She discovered her passion for hospitality and creating and preparing dishes. The name New York Elegance is a nod to Chef Christie’s birthplace New York. She lived most of her life in The Bronx, New York where she was introduced to many diverse cuisines. The dishes created by Chef Christie at New York Elegance represent her love for distinct dishes from many regions.
